Daniel Konicek practices in the areas of professional liability, commercial litigation, and personal injury.  He has tried to verdict over 85 jury trials in the state and federal courts.  He has represented clients in administrative hearings before the Department of Professional Regulation and Attorney Disciplinary Commission.  He was honored as one of Illinois’ top lawyers by inclusion in the 40 Under 40 Illinois Attorneys to Watch and has been named as an Illinois Super Lawyer since 2006.  He is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Who’s Who and Litigation Counsel of America.  Mr. Konicek, who serves on the ITLA Board of Managers, has tried dozens of cases involving damages in excess of a million dollars and has obtained multi-million dollar settlements in legal malpractice claims alleging conflict of interest and breach of fiduciary duty.

Mr. Dillon represents plaintiffs in nursing home negligence, trucking company negligence, personal injury, and wrongful death litigation. He also handles legal malpractice, conflict of interest and breach of fiduciary duty claims. He has tried numerous cases to verdict and obtained settlements in the six- and seven-figure ranges in personal injury and wrongful death cases, and for clients victimized by attorney or law firm conflicts of interest and breaches of fiduciary duty. He has published articles on legal malpractice and related topics and has presented dozens of seminars on attorney ethics, improving service to clients, and preventing legal malpractice. He has been an invited speaker for the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association Mutual Insurance Company, Minnesota Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company, various county bar associations, the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the Association of Transportation Law Professionals, and the Workers Compensation Lawyers Association, Ltd. He served as Chair of the Kane County Bar Association Ethics and Professionalism Committees from 2OOS2O12. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Association, and AAJ.

Mr. Dillon has handled dozens of appeals in Illinois and other states, and he has successfully argued on issues pertinent to legal malpractice litigation in the Illinois Supreme Court. He is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network and has been selected for inclusion in the Illinois SuperLawyers for his work on behalf of injured plaintiffs and for his work on behalf of attorneys. He is licensed in Illinois and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has been admitted on a case-by-case basis to handle matters in state or federal courts in California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin.

Mr. Dillon attended Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and Northern Illinois University, where he obtained his B,A. in Public Law, attended graduate school, and earned his Juris Doctorate degree (1991), He was admitted to practice law in Illinois on November 7, 1991.
