Mozart-inspired the MAGIC FLUTE returns to the Lyric Opera for four weeks!  The Queen of the Night’s enemy has abducted her daughter, Pamina and the only one who can save her is Prince Tamino. Luckily, WGN’s Andrea Darlas sat down with both Pamina (soprano Christiane Karg) and Tamino (tenor Andrew Staples ) to talk about the valiant rescue, in addition to the beauty of the opera — and what Chicago audiences have come to expect from their performances!  The Magic Flute runs through January 27th at the Lyric Opera.
