Professor of Political Science, Dr. Philip Beverly hails from Chicago State University and knows that there is much to talk about in terms of 2016 politics, but Paul and Dr. Beverly focused on the last push as Trump and Clinton are almost 60 days out from election day. How will Trump hold up with the teleprompter? When will Clinton put on a press conference? What do we think will happen at the Presidential debate? They cover it all in their political chat.

At 16:23 Paul shifted gears to the week’s theater feature: Rose Kennedy is a figure that has become monumental to the famous American family, the Kennedys, and the one woman show, “Rose” shares the perspective of the family matriarch and all of her personal experiences in the public life. Based off of tapes detailing her inner most thoughts, Linda Reiter (who plays Rose Kennedy) talked with Paul about the role and how her arduous life affected Linda and her perspective on the character. Jacob Harvey, the Artistic Director of the Greenhouse Theater Center, chimed in on the conversation as well to tell listeners about the new production.
