By Adam Hoge-

It’s really hard to judge the 49ers off their win in Dallas last week. The Cowboys were horrible and that game was over early because of the Cowboys’ turnovers. Colin Kaepernick made some nice throws and the 49ers’ running game looked good, but the offense as a whole actually wasn’t that productive once the Cowboys stopped turning the ball over.

Believe it or not,  there is a way for the Bears to go into Levi’s Stadium and spoil the ribbon-cutting ceremony. I think the 49ers are being overrated after last week’s opener and the panic in Chicago is making many think there is a larger gap between these two teams than there really is.

If the Bears’ defense eliminates the long runs and the offense doesn’t turn the ball over, this will be a close game and Jay Cutler will likely have a chance to win it in the fourth quarter.

That being said, it’s too hard to pick the Bears in this game. The 49ers should be able to run the ball and Kaepernick is a lot more dangerous that EJ Manuel was last week. Even if Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall play, will they be 100 percent? Throw in the 49ers’ large advantage on special teams and I’m going with San Francisco.

Prediction: 49ers 27, Bears 24
